This is me today in my get ready for Friday attitude. I bought the tank top through the feel your boobies web site Heide's friend Leigh founded. It's aimed at drawing attention of young women (under 40) to check themselves and hopefully catch breast cancer early. The best $25 tank top I own and it's got the pink ribbon. I was planning to be home mostly so I threw on Kevin's camo bandanna. I think that the ladies in CT may not be ready for this look yet... but I don't care too much. If I had to go out I would, camo and all.
I'm ready for Friday. Treatment 5 - over the midway hump and onto the final 4 countdown. I'm hoping for a little ease as far as the side effects go but I stocked up on Tylenol and Aleve just in case. Kevin's going with me - we'll update as soon as I can afterward. These 4 take longer - I'm expecting to spend 4 hours there. Plus we have to go into Hartford tomorrow rather than the usual right here in Avon (@2 miles from home).
Tonight we're cooking out with Kama and her family - steaks, chickie-kabobs & stuff. There's definitely a sip of wine on my horizon. Kama has been on an interview whirlwind this week for a teaching job and I can always use a glass of wine! Plus - the big news is that one of the projects I worked on at FSN won the Silver at PROMAX (it's a design/TV/promo thing - I think it's pretty [flip]ing awesome to quote my pal & co-winner Martin). On the off chance that my friends need any pushing to partake in naughty treats - have a toast/treat with me.

Even with all this crap you're going through and a camo bandana, you still manage to look better than me...you don't look sick. You look more like you're making a fashion statement.
Congrats on the Major Award. I think you should carry around your EMMY Awards, that way if the CT women give you any attitude, you can bop them on the head with it...all the while knowing that they don't have one! nanny nanny poo poo! :)
Dinner with the crew sounds like fun...I'll be toasting to you from here.
Hugs & Kisses, MEO
Congrats on the Promax Silver! we're here at the conference -- that win is a huge deal. I'll make sure one of my drinks this evening is in your honor!
wish you were here with us!

We're still pinching ourselves that you guys are so close-- it has been so much fun being able to do dinners and such.
I love you and your camo bandi.

molly is correct about the emmy's. congrats on your promax silver!
you are the quintessential poster child for the following proverb:
"It is not the circumstances in our lives that are important, but how we respond to them that demonstrate the substance of our Soul."
as always, you will be thought of today and every day until the eviction of those disharmonious cells have fully and forever taken leave from your body.
i think you look luminescent AND after reading all of the entries since i have been away whilest winging my way back and forth across the US of A, writing is incontrovertibly your next avocation.
so there! nee ner nee ner.
love,

Congrats on the new hardwear! I hope everything goes well today with your next treatment. Usually the anticipation is the worst part. Just focus on the post-treatment wine.
Love you!
