The Day After the Last Treatment

So... here I am just having a regular cup of coffee. I don't have to go to any treatment today. It's a short respite from the medical schedule I've had. On Thursday I have another physical therapy appointment. It will likely be my last. Then it's just follow-up visits with all my doctors peppered into the schedule over the next several months. It's as close to "normal" I can expect right now. And that's fine.

Today I can lay low, start recovering from the radiation and the cold we've all had here, watch PBS kids with Bailey, go to the library after Jacqueline gets home from school. Regular stuff. We can think about decorating for the holidays. Now I can get into some good habits with exercise, with hobbies and art projects, with life. This is day 1.
