After my slip-n-slide ride in the rain to my radiation appointment I made the trek up to Windsor, CT, for Physical Therapy. Luckily, maybe thankfully, I was put into the care of an able professional. She's very kind, easy to talk to and seemed to be a good fit. It's little inconvenient but not as inconvenient as losing some range of motion in my left arm.
She educated me about lymphedema, about precautions to take to delay real lymphedma onset. I have a slight swelling, very mild and good range in my arm. I will only have to go back a handful of times to learn the exercises and strengthen my arm. She encouraged me to exercise and listen to my arm; yoga was good in her opinion because motion moves the fluid through the arm. I'll be going on Saturday for sure. It might be time to commit to the 10-class card. It's part of moving on.
On Thursday I'll be getting my #20 treatment. 20! Ahh... close to done.

good morning jenn --
yes, it is 4 AM as i have an early flight to wing my way westward in order to attend the blog world expo in vegas. why don't they book these things in CT, hmmm? the noive!
my peepers will be on high alert with your levels of [regional] EMMY award winning artistry in mind for i "sense" that you have much creativity that has been sublimated for far too long that is yearning to spring forth - with Spring, my favorite time of year, being the operative word in that sentence.
listen to your inner self and your sister!
******** go for the 10 card class.********
and, in those moments when you understandably experience warranted frustration with this zapping, please consider focusing on how very fortunate we all are that you are only a member of a sorority vs. this clan, a loving, video tribute to hope and the triumph of the human spirit that seems to me to be so very apt for "chemo chic" as well as a stirring visual for the artist that resides in your essence.
you, jenn webb, have been the living embodiment of the adage: 'with hope, anything is possible' ... Christoher Reeve
