Wednesday Was Sublime

After a fairly successful day around here, I had a nice night.

Jacqueline read to me at bedtime. Then we fell asleep together. I woke up and went downstairs around 10pm. I was downstairs, by myself: no one was talking to me, asking me for anything, crying. I turned on Bravo, watched the season finale of Project Runway and ate the better part of a sleeve of Thin Mint cookies. It was fabulous.

I signed up to have a table at the school fair where I can hopefully sell some of my cards and frames, maybe drum up some design business. I also volunteered to do the design work for the silent auction at the carnival at school. It's one of those things that won't take too much effort on my part and I'll get some credit for being a team player. Plus my girlfriend called from GA and told me how much work I was actually doing as the cookie mom for Jacqueline's troop. (I had no idea how overwhelmed I was supposed to be). So I felt good about the day. And then how awesome are Thin Mints??
