You can laugh or shake your head in agreement, either way I've made a little progress in the self-awareness department. I'm really not helping things. Not by talking this out, not by posting it, not by calling UHC repeatedly trying to figure out a way to get what I need the way that I want it. The truth is that the system is out of control. I cannot beat it on this one request. I do know that I am barely a blip on the UHC radar. Why should they care? They are in it to make money, not give me what I want.

Yup, back to my fortune telling tea bags. That's what I got yesterday. Now I'm on a mission and it begins on election day with my first active measure when I cast votes for candidates who will bring my issues to the front and center of the national and local debates. And tomorrow I am going to get measured for the glove at the in-network provider who found time in their schedule when UHC called. Hmm.
Maybe by election day I'll have the glove. Let's see.
