- No more Neulasta shots! My blood count check this morning was great and I will not need to do that shot on Sunday after treatments going forward. It's a little thing but it's a GOOD thing. One less cancer-related intrusion in my life.
- The Green Mountain Hazelnut coffee I am drinking is DELISH.
- "You need to drink!" Donna said. She was quick to clarify that she meant water (my BP was 96/65 this morning) but when I suggested forgoing a cocktail she said "You CAN have a drink to celebrate this weekend". It's official. It sounds like part of the treatment plan to me. How much worse is a cosmopolitan than a dose of Taxol anyway???
- Today is starting out as one of those perfect summer days. Sunny, blue skies with a gentle cool breeze.
- Bailey IS taking his morning nap. Ah... sweet quiet boy. For now.
- Webkinz - ah, webkinz. Hours of online entertainment for my Jack-a-doodle.

~ no more shots ~ meaning that your weekend is a weekend, being able to savor the DELISH of your coffee sans nausea, healthy children, and your great blood count, and last, but irrefutably not least, your inimitable sense of humor, i.e., pondering the toxicity of Taxol vs. a Cosmopolitan, is the perfect conclusion to the week from you.
