Look at what I got in the mail today! C'mon, it's funny.
Anyway, I went to the cancer center in Hartford today for a free REIKI session. It's a sort of massage therapy. It was pretty cool - I got to relax for about 30 minutes so that alone was worth it.
On Thursday I am headed back to Manhattan to get the drain removed. Mom's still my driver - I have to wait another week to drive again. I'm healing well, feeling a little better/stronger in the left arm each day. I've got to keep up with the exercises that I learned in PT. I'm looking forward to having the nurse take a look and get rid of this drain.
As for 5 days until beautiful hair, well, my hair IS growing back in and so are my lashes and brows. I spend several minutes in front of the mirror checking on my stubby lash growth each morning. That was something that I had focused on. Eyelashes. I really missed having long lashes a lot. Somehow I thought losing lashes made me look sick but hair-loss I could overcome. Will I have beautiful hair in 5 days? I guess it'll be the ultimate test for Dove hair care products, won't it?

Guess that counts as false advertising-- but you have just the right attitude. Did you know that adults laugh an average of 4 times a day and children laugh an average of 400! WOW! Glad you are still laughing. Love you- K
