:: DONE ::

This morning I had my last radiation treatment! The last one. I'm really done. I don't have to hustle out the door after the bus-stop tomorrow morning. Bailey and I can take it easy while we help get Jacqueline and Kevin out the door. No drive to UCONN. No Johnie top. No Zap.

DONE. Hmm... what will I do tomorrow morning?
----------------

I said good bye to the techs who helped me and we traded hugs, to another patient who was happy for me to be done (she's getting there as well), and to the guard who gave a great smile every morning as we passed for the last 6 weeks. I told him I wouldn't be back tomorrow and thanked him for smiling. He told me good luck and "you're welcome".

On my way out of the parking lot today, I looked out at the horizon. There were the purple hills and dark blue clouds split by a band of golden early morning sky. The weather was changing. Clouds were breaking way to the sunlight. And I finished the last part of my cancer treatment.
