Today it was that I had 3 - now only 2 - more treatments before the boost doses. Only two more. I've got the little countdown on the black board in our kitchen and I adjust it after each treatment. By next Friday it will be over. It could be erased. We can move on.
After the zapping I went to PT this morning. I learned how to wrap my arm and am currently wrapped. I need to keep it on, do some exercises with it as it's a working therapy. It seems to be good and worth the trip to pursue the physical therapy. Of course I am now the proud owner of $50 worth of bandages. It's only money. You can't take it with you. (repeat & try to believe it.) So if I ever have swelling in my arm again I know how to deal with it and I have the supplies to deal with it. Just that knowledge makes me feel a little better; a little more in control. I personally hope that these $50 worth of bandages sit in the closet collecting dust for all of eternity.
