News That Made Us SMILE

Yesterday while the doctor examined me pre-treatment he confirmed what I had believed to be true. The nasty tumor is already shrinking. Like the wicked-witch-of-the-west! It's softening and flattening out. The chemo is having an effect already.

While I have a long way to go to be cancer-free this news was HUGE. We're all smiles here in CT and I wanted to share it with you all as well.

jenn --

yesterday i stumbled across an article that brought YOU to mind immediately. did you ever see "what the bleep do we know?"

if not, basically it is about quantum mechanics/physics.

i found it thought provoking especially:

(1) A 1993 study found that, when 4,000 people meditated together, violent crime in Washington, D.C., declined 23% over the course of the experiment, in contrast to its rising in the months before and after. The results were shown not to be due to other variables, such as weather, the police, or anti-crime campaigns. The predicted effect had been posited with and independent review board, which had participated in the study design and monitored its conduct.197 A similar effect was shown in a study of 24 U.S. cities, in which 1% of the urban population regularly practiced TM. A follow-up study demonstrated that the 24 cities saw drops of 22% in crime and 89% in the crime trend, compared to increases of 2% and 53%, respectively, in the control cities.

AND
(2)the work of Dr. Masaru Emotoa and the visible influence of spoken and written words on water. i was totally in awe of both the concept and the photographs.

This brings me to the topic at hand.

Healing with words is one of the most effective methods you can ever use for yourself and others. Sticks and stones can break bones, but words have the power to deliver a blow that can damage a life forever - OR heal a life forever.

"We offered the juvenile patients at The Cancer Care Center, those undergoing Chemotherapy, to choose words they might like to put on their IV pouches. About 50% of the children chose "love" while others chose "health," "peace," and "humor."

What we learned is the children felt much better about chemicals entering their bodies through IVs when they visualized the fluid as "love" instead of poison that "kills" cancer. This group, more than any other group of children in the program, recovered faster and expressed a much greater sense of peace and confidence in their medical treatments after they began placing words on their IVs."

In the article I read, 'Sacred Power of Words & Water' by Mera Bleu, she wrote of another example:

"When I ran the Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco, I had "courage" and "breakthrough" taped on my legs (one word on each leg). I have entered this race for 5 years and never finished. This year I did! I think it was the words tha helped make the difference." BartonL., San Francisco, CA.

Below is a link to the images that have been designed with health challenges in mind.

just my 2 cents and always,
